
Autumn Fluetsch
Project Coordinator
Autumn (she/her) advances North Star's work by supporting Skunkworks groups and helping with various research projects and events. She is currently earning her Master's of Urban and Regional Planning at Portland State University and is passionate about reimagining urban spaces to foster equity, sustainability, and wellbeing among communities.
Prior to joining North Star in 2022, Autumn completed a Fulbright grant in Luxembourg, where she taught English and pursued her interests in urban planning and community development throughout Europe. Autumn also has experience in political work in Portland, having worked in U.S. Congressman Earl Blumenauer's office, on political campaigns, and for numerous nonprofits focused on community building, small business support, and environmental conservation. She moved to Portland in 2016 to attend University of Portland, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in organizational communication and conducted research in the field of environmental communication.
Outside of work, Autumn enjoys walking around Portland's lively neighborhoods, cooking new meals for her friends, and exploring running and hiking trails throughout Forest Park and the rest of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
