Dahnesh Medora
Dahnesh Medora is motivated to find ways to center marginalized communities while making equity a shared priority for all of us. Dahnesh is a Senior Fellow at the Western States Center and has held different leadership roles building infrastructure for social change. He oversaw all programs as Chief Impact officer at United Way of the Columbia-Willamette and as the Building Community Portfolio Director at the Meyer Memorial Trust, he helped create and manage grantmaking programs aimed at building social, economic and political power in communities of color.
With a passion for working across cultures, Dahnesh has provided capacity building support to nonprofits, emerging social justice projects and public-private collaborations at the federal, state and local levels.
When Dahnesh isn’t serving his community in his role, he enjoys spending time with and entertaining his daughter, who is still young enough to think he is hilarious.
